During an unbelievably hard time for me and my son, Michelle entered our world. Her immense inner strength, knowledge, grounded and practical approach soon took traction. She bought kindness and wisdom that exceeded her years. She just ‘got it’, a rare find. Not only did she earn the trust of a deeply hurt child from the mainstream system, she adapted to our way of life and provided natural tools to connect. My son blossomed in her care. She was a confidant, teacher, friend, guide and defacto family member, all rolled in one. In others words indispensable.

My son has grown into a well rounded teenager and we couldn’t have done it without Michelle. Would we work with her again? In a heart beat!

I don’t even know where to start. Before working with Kirsten, I felt completely lost and overwhelmed. My daughter was really struggling with transitions and aggression. I just didn’t know how to help her in a way that worked.

Kirsten was a star from the very first session. She broke everything down into simple, doable steps and always made me feel so supported. One of the best things we did was adding visuals at home to help with transitions especially away from the TV and we made them with all my daughter’s favorite things which she loved! It made such a difference.

Now, my daughter is able to express herself. I finally feel like I understand her better and actually know what to do to help.

I’m so thankful for Kirsten and can’t recommend her enough to any parent needing support.

Kirsten’s absolutely amazing. Her patience, understanding, and kindness made it very easy to open up. In our sessions, she gave me useful tips to kickstart self-improvement.

Her attentive nature made me feel comfortable talking about things I wouldn’t usually be able to describe. Not only was she always there when I needed her, but she also helped me get to grips with my emotions. She’s got an empathetic approach, and she’s amazing at untangling complex feelings. Working with her really made a massive difference in my life. Her passion for helping people cannot be more evident.

Working with Michelle has been one of the most meaningful and supportive experiences for both Keeva and our family. Her approach is deeply compassionate, grounded in expertise, and tailored to meet Keeva exactly where she is. Michelle has helped us better understand Keeva’s world and given us the tools to support her development in a way that feels natural and empowering.

What stood out most is how Michelle sees the potential in every child and works with care, insight, and patience to bring that to life. Her guidance has been a steady hand during times when things felt overwhelming, and her new venture, Neuro Nurture, will no doubt be a safe and transformative space for many more families.

We are incredibly grateful for the role she’s played in Keeva’s journey and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any parent looking for thoughtful and effective early support.

NURTURING YOUR CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT

BUILDING BLOCKS
FOR HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT

We’ve worked with hundreds of neurodivergent children and their families, and we bring both professional expertise and deep, personal passion into every session.

Michelle holds a BSc in Human Physiology, Genetics, and Psychology, with an Honours in Neurophysiology focusing on Autism and ADHD. With her academic foundation and over a decade of experience providing intervention to neurodivergent children, she blends expertise and intuition to create flexible, empowering support systems. Michelle works across diagnoses using approaches like DIR Floortime®, ESDM, TEACCH, and AAC to foster communication, advocacy, and connection.

Kirsten holds a Master’s degree in Autism and Education from UCT, along with a background in Psychology and Social Development. As a board-certified Counsellor, she integrates evidence-based support with emotional insight, offering intervention that’s both structured and sensitive. Her work draws from DIR Floortime®, ESDM, Gestalt Play Therapy, and person-centred counselling to create intervention that truly meets each child where they are.

Together, we’ve built Neuro Nurture to be more than just an intervention centre. It’s a safe, inclusive space where children feel seen, parents feel supported, and every small step forward is celebrated. Backed by evidence-based approaches and guided by compassion, our approach is as individual as your child.
